Macy Rich, Faculty

Hi! My name is Macy Rich. I’ve called Liberty, Missouri home since childhood, and some of my best memories growing up were made in a dance studio. I started at Studio 10 when I was little and trained in a variety of styles - lyrical, ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. Dance class nights were always my favorite nights of the week! In high school, I shifted my focus to cheerleading, where I discovered a love for tumbling and stunting. Even though my main hobby had changed, dance was never far from my mind. When I attended Northwest Missouri State University, I joined the Northwest Dance Company, which is group that gave me the chance to choreograph, perform, and stay connected to my love for dance. By day, I’m lucky enough to spend my days as a kindergarten teacher in the North Kansas City School District and my Tuesday evenings at Refine Studio. This is my third season on the faculty, and I love that I get to merge my passion for teaching children with my lifelong love of dance. My goal is to provide a space where dancers can grow their skills, gain confidence, and most importantly, create memories they will never forget. I am beyond excited to be a part of this coming season!
